MovingStill is a project that has been created in Penang, a little island of Malaysia, where despite of being small, the art is very present.

What if you go to a show and you can take home a piece of it?

 

MovingStill presents the combination of different types of arts; body expression and visual art. Focusing mainly on contemporary dance and painting. An exposure of a paint collection that is being backed up, feeling and meaning wise, with a life performance.

 

The life performance is created inspired by the theme of the paintings,  where the perception of the stillness and the interaction of the moving create a whole union.  The staging helps the audience to discover and create their own concept of the theme.
